Vortex ECU Mapping Instructions

Map Selection (Main Dial)

• Map 1–2: Stock / near-stock setups
• Map 3–4: Slip-on exhaust / intake upgrades
• Map 5–6: Full exhaust systems / common bolt-ons
• Map 7–8: Aggressive performance / race setups
• Map 9–10: Built motors / high compression / race fuel

Recommended Starting Point: Map 5 or 6 for most aftermarket exhaust systems

Fuel Trim Adjustments

• Low (L): Idle to 1/4 throttle
• Mid (M): 1/4 to 3/4 throttle
• High (H): 3/4 to full throttle
• Turn clockwise (+) to add fuel
• Turn counterclockwise (–) to reduce fuel

Tuning Guidelines

• Start at 0 / 0 / 0 (neutral settings)
• Make small adjustments (1 click at a time)
• Test ride after each change

Common Corrections:

• Decel popping → add fuel to Low
• Mid-range hesitation → adjust Mid
• Weak top-end → adjust High

Performance Notes

• Works excellent with aftermarket exhaust systems, intake upgrades, and modified engines
• Ideal for motocross, dune, and off-road riding
• Multiple maps allow quick adjustment for terrain and riding style
