The Empire Industries Gen 2 Exhaust System is engineered to deliver a balanced combination of performance and rideability for the Yamaha YFZ450R and YFZ450X. This system provides strong, usable power across the entire RPM range and works well with modified engines.

Featuring a 2-step header pipe design, this exhaust improves exhaust velocity and engine efficiency, resulting in quicker throttle response, stronger mid-range torque, and increased top-end horsepower compared to standard exhaust systems.

Each Empire Industries exhaust system is handcrafted in the USA using mandrel-bent 304 stainless steel for durability and performance. The lightweight aluminum octagon muffler with billet aluminum end caps provides excellent strength while allowing easy service and repacking.

Fuel Controller Required

A fuel controller is required when installing this exhaust system.

Proper fuel tuning is necessary to maintain correct air/fuel ratios, ensure engine safety, and allow the engine to fully benefit from the increased exhaust flow and performance gains.

Spark Arrestor & Quiet Core Compatibility

Empire quiet cores and spark arrestors clip directly into the standard billet exhaust tips and can be easily installed or removed.

• Quiet cores and spark arrestors clip into the standard billet tips
• Helps reduce exhaust sound when using a quiet core insert
• Recommended for riders requiring spark arrestor compliance for trail or public land use

Note: Quiet cores and spark arrestors do not work with the carbon fiber tip.

Carbon Fiber Tip Option: When selecting the optional carbon fiber exhaust tip, these inserts cannot be used.
